Williamsburg, Virginia, August 2012- The Forum on the Advancement of Court Technology (FACT) announced this year’s winners of the Top Ten Court Websites Award during the NACM Annual Conference in Orlando.  CONGRATULATIONS to our 2012 winners:

  4. Iowa Judicial Branch
  5. Spokane County District Court
  6. Michigan Supreme Court

  9. Nineteenth Judicial District, Illinois
  10. Franklin County Municipal Court, Ohio

Award winners are selected from a review of national and international websites and judged on criteria such as 508 compliance, access to public records, access to justice, and number of available eServices, among others.

Originally awarded annually by Chris Crawford of Justice Served, the Top Ten Court Websites Award is a continuation of that effort, sponsored by FACT. Courts can nominate their website by sending an email directly to FACT at fact@nacmnet.org.

A NACM special committee founded in 1989, FACT is a consortium of private-sector companies and court representatives dedicated to strengthening the dialogue between courts who use technology and companies who provide technology.
